About Us
The Plymouth Drake Sea Cadets is one of
many Sea Cadet units located throughout the UK. It is a
disciplined youth organisation based upon the Royal Navy
and a registered charity. Plymouth Drake unit has played
a key part in developing Plymouth's youth for over 50 Years
and although based upon the Royal Navy is not funded by
it and relies mainly on donations and fundraising by the
adult volunteers.
On 6th November 2007, Plymouth Drake Sea
Cadets or TS Golden Hind as it is known, relocated to HMS
Vivid after many years at Fisher Block within HMS Drake.
