On the weekend 25th
January 2008 19 Cadets from Plymouth Drake unit partook in the annual
area drill competition. 13 Cadets were involved in the unarmed squad
drill with 3 reservists and 3 cadets were involved in the piping element
of the competition.
From this weekend
they managed to achieve a 3rd place in the piping, 1st place in the
drill and the squad commander won best dressed. Overall Plymouth Drake
won 1st place for the District Drill out of 11 units.

Cadets will be having a FunDay in Plymouth City Centre (Place De
Breast).
During the Day there will be a whole host
of events and activities and displays from the Cadets. The aim of the
FunDay is to raise funds for the unit and recruit adult volunteers.
